Lloyds Banking Group has strengthened its residential development team with a new role and two appointments within a revised team structure.
The newly created role of affordable housing moonger will lead the group’s engagement with housing associations and registered providers.
Gina Burrows, previously national manager of residential development at the group, has taken up the role from 1 June.
Burrows has extensive experience and expertise in affordable housing from a long career at Lloyds Banking Group.
She will lead relationships across the sector, supporting the development of shared ownership and affordable housing proposals, and representing the group to industry bodies, government and key external partnerships.
Gemma Clark has been appointed national housing development manager.
Clark most recently worked at Nationwide Building Society, where she was most recently an intermediary proposition manager.
She will support relationships with major housebuilders and lead regional engagement across the South West, South East, London and Home Counties, working closely with agents specializing in new builds to help deliver solutions that improve access to homeownership.
The group says the team structure aims to place greater focus on specialists to better support housebuilders, housing associations, registered providers and agents operating in the new build market.
