Coventry Building Society will increase rates on a range of fixed-rate residential properties on Wednesday, while also cutting some prices.
The lender did not reveal the size of the increases, but gave brokers two days’ notice of the increase on some deals.
In the residential offering, all two-year fixes for both new and existing borrowers, apart from the offset rates, will increase.
Coventry is increasing all two-year fixed remortgage rates to 75% of loan-to-value and all 90% LTV purchase rates for new borrowers.
All three-year fixes at 65% and 85% LTV and all five-year fixes at 65% and 90% LTV for existing borrowers will increase.
The lender is increasing the five-year fixes at 85% LTV without fees, but there will be reductions on the fee version.
All fixed interest rates for existing borrowers will increase.
In addition to the residential rate increases, Coventry is making a number of price reductions in its buy-to-let and limited company buy-to-let agreements.
