Homebuyers now have zip-code level metrics on average temperature, precipitation, snowfall, humidity and UV index directly on listing pages in an effort to help shoppers understand what it’s like living in a neighborhood year-round.

“The Weather Channel data is already relied upon by hundreds of millions of people monthly. By integrating these same trusted, high-precision insights directly into the Redfin experience, we are meeting consumers where they are,” said Rohit Agarwal, CEO of the Weather Company.
Weather is now another layer of data homebuyers can use when planning their next move. Other tools offered by Redfin include Sunscore, which is a rating out of 100 of how much sunlight a home receives. They also provide severe weather scores for wildfires, flood, heat, wind and air quality and quality of life metrics like walkability.
