Broadstone Lending Advisory Services has appointed Leo Brooks and Megan Ueltschy Scheps as demand grows for independent advisory services.
Brooks and Ueltschy Scheps join as senior business development managers, bringing more than four decades of combined experience across commercial banking, credit, structured finance, governance and relationship management.
Brooks has more than 25 years’ experience in banking, credit risk, portfolio management and regulatory remediation, having held senior positions with HSBC, AIB, Clydesdale Bank and FSE Group.
His experience spans commercial lending, distressed assets, governance and FCA remediation programmes.
Ueltschy Scheps joins following a senior corporate banking career in the US where she held managing director level positions leading relationship management, structured finance and commercial banking teams before relocating to the UK.
She has experience managing complex corporate relationships, portfolio growth and strategic partnerships.
Broadstone Lending Advisory senior director John Barbour says: “The lending market has evolved considerably over the past few years. Access to capital remains important but confidence has become equally valuable. Investors, funders and lenders want independent assurance that businesses are well governed, operationally resilient and capable of managing increasingly sophisticated lending environments.”
“We have seen significant growth in demand for advisory services that strengthen confidence across the market, whether through due diligence, governance reviews, portfolio assurance or operational transformation.”
“Leo and Megan bring outstanding banking experience from two different markets but share the same consultative approach that has become central to our business. Their combined expertise further strengthens our ability to support clients as they navigate an increasingly demanding commercial and regulatory landscape.“
