Generation Home (Gen. H) has appointed Maria Harris and Peter Walker as non-executive directors to the board of directors.
In due course, Harris will join the board of Atom Bank’s executive team, where she served as director of intermediary lending. Previously, she headed mortgage distribution at HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group.
She is a non-executive director of United Trust Bank and founder and chair of the Open Property Data Association.
She is also an advisor to Coreco and FinTech North.
Walker is a chartered accountant and brings significant experience in regulated mortgage lending, loan servicing, business management and debt capital markets.
He started his career at EY and subsequently worked as a managing director and board member of lending and asset management companies in the UK, US and across Europe, most recently for BCM Global.
He is also an investor in and advisor to fintech and proptech companies.
At Gen H, he will chair the risk and audit committee of the board of directors.
CEO of Gen H, Will Rice, said: “The business has moved in a very positive direction this year, and as we prepare to launch new products and pursue profitability, it is more important than ever that we have support and expertise from non-executive directors such as Maria and Peter. I am pleased to welcome them to the company and look forward to all we will achieve together.”
