Halifax will cut rates by up to 22 basis points tomorrow, while Leeds Building Society and Kensington will make smaller cuts.
They join a wave of other lenders who have announced they will cut prices tomorrow, including NatWest, TSB, Accord, Clydesdale and Bank of Ireland.
At Halifax the following rates are reduced:
- Selected remortgage rates will fall by up to 22 basis points
- The rates for product transfers and further advances will decrease by up to 17 basis points
- The rates for movers and starters will fall by up to 15 basis points
Leeds Building Society has already cut a number of buy-to-let deals by up to 25 basis points on Wednesday.
Tomorrow the lender will lower the following home mortgage interest rate:
- Selected two-, three- and five-year rates for existing customers reduced by up to 13 basis points
- For new customers, the selected two-year interest rate is reduced by up to 11 basis points
