The Land Registry has updated its portal to provide more accurate estimated timescales for users looking to register a property title.
It says it is now calculating estimated completion dates differently to give users more clarity, following feedback.
The Land Registry says: “The date shown will be more specific to the application type submitted.”
In further updates to the portal, it will be easier for users to filter applications to view cases where more information is requested before proceeding.
It should also become easier to detect applications that are in danger of being canceled because the requested information has not yet been provided.
The portal now allows users to submit larger files when prompted to upload documents.
