Family Building Society has announced the appointment of Laura Hamp as chief financial officer and a member of its board of directors.
Hamp joined the society earlier this year from Furness Building Society, where she also served as chief financial officer. She brings more than 15 years’ experience in financial services and a strong track record within the mutual sector.
A qualified chartered accountant, Hamp is a Fellow of ICAS and was named CFO of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards 2023
Hamp said: “I’m very pleased to have joined the Family and to continue my career in the mutual sector, which upholds the very best ethical standards in lending and savings, as well as reflecting the ethos that members of ICAS hold true.
“I am delighted to have been promoted to the board of the society”.
