The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed Will himself as chairman of the smaller company personnel panel. He will take on his role from 1 September.
The independent panel itself will lead to advise and representing the interests of smaller regulated companies.
The FCA chairman Ashley Alder welcomed the appointment: ‘The smaller company practitioner panel plays a crucial role to ensure that the views of smaller companies are taken into account in our work.
“Their views will be useful if we focus in our new five -year strategy on proportionality, clarity, clarity, reducing unnecessary burdens and support for smaller companies to explore and innovate new technologies.”
