Fleet Mortgages has appointed Nicola Richardson as its new director.
Richardson has been with Fleet since its launch in 2014 and has played a central role in building and scaling the business since its inception.
She initially started as head of finance but went on to establish the lender’s finance function and has since progressed through a number of senior roles including chief financial officer, chief financial officer and most recently head of finance and operations.
Richardson has more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and obtained the AMCT qualification which she obtained during a treasury role at CHL Mortgages.
In her role as Managing Director, Richardson will assume responsibility for the overall leadership, performance and strategic direction of Fleet Mortgages.
She will oversee all core areas of the business and ensure it continues to grow in a controlled and sustainable manner, while maintaining a strong focus on broker underwriting, service and support.
