Norton Home Loans has joined the Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) mortgage lender panel, giving advisers access to its range of specialist first payment mortgage products.
With more than 50 years of experience in specialist lending, Norton supports brokers with issues outside the standard criteria, including complex credit histories, affordability issues and non-standard income or property types.
The broker-first approach combines flexible criteria, assessment of individual cases and direct access to insurers.
As one of the UK’s most established mortgage networks, MAB supports over 2,000 advisers with access to a wide range of lenders, technology tools and marketing support.
The addition of Norton to the panel gives MAB members greater flexibility in placing more challenging cases, especially in a market where client circumstances are becoming increasingly complex.
The panel agreement covers Norton’s first product suite and is now available to MAB advisors across the UK.
David Binney, head of sales at Norton Home Loans, said: “Mortgage Advice Bureau is one of the most respected and progressive networks in the market, so joining the lender panel is a big step forward for us.”
Rachel Geddes, director of strategic lending at MAB, added: “Norton Home Loans brings a level of knowledge that will be difficult to replicate.”
“With more than 50 years of experience in this part of the market, they understand the challenges our advisors face every day, from credit problems and unusual income to more complicated affordability scenarios.”
