Channel 4 Ventures has agreed to invest £5 million, with a further £2.5 million subject to certain milestones, in media-for-equity in OneDome, the housing and fintech super app.
The new funding, from Channel 4’s consumer investment arm, will be used in 2026 to launch a major national marketing campaign promoting OneDome’s HomeBuyer Service – which integrates mortgages, conveyancing and purchase management into a single, fixed-price product.
OneDome has experienced explosive growth over the past two and a half years, with 245% year-over-year growth this year. OneDome wants to triple its turnover again by the end of 2026.
Commenting on the deal, OneDome founder and CEO Babek Ismayil said:
“The home buying experience is disrupted, disjointed and stressful. We developed the HomeBuyer Service to give customers a completely different, fully integrated experience. Instead of having to juggle multiple service providers and manage the process themselves while working full-time, buyers can now purchase one fixed-price service that includes everything they need to complete a home purchase.”
He added: “We believe this service will fundamentally change the way people buy property in Britain, and I am pleased and grateful that Vinay Solanki and the Channel 4 team have joined us in our mission to make the HomeBuyer Service a mainstream product.”
Last month OneDome launched a broker network, OneDome Growth Partners.
