Mortgage Brain has integrated Uinsure into its CRM Brain platform, allowing brokers to automatically provide insurance quotes as part of the mortgage application process.
The integration means that once a mortgage application has been submitted via CRM Brain, brokers must ask their customer whether he wants a quote for building and contents insurance.
The quote can be requested and completed in CRM Brain, alongside the rest of their mortgage process, without having to switch systems or re-enter information.
Brokers no longer need to log into separate systems or manage the process manually, saving time at an important stage of the customer journey.
The integration also gives brokers an additional revenue stream.
Brokers can offer buildings and contents insurance at the natural point in the process, when the customer has just completed his mortgage application.
The Uinsure integration is already available to PRIMIS users via CRM Brain and this latest move extends that to the wider Mortgage Brain broker network.
Uinsure Chief Distribution Officer Lauren Bagley said: “Everything we build is about removing the complexity of insurance and these types of integrations are at the heart of that. When the quote is within the system that advisers already use, it is no longer a separate task and removes a key barrier to offering cover.
“The mortgage moment is the best opportunity to add value beyond the mortgage itself, and this partnership with Mortgage Brain means thousands of additional advisors can make that conversation a natural part of every customer relationship.”
Neil Wyatt, Chief Commercial Officer of Mortgage Brain, said: “By posting insurance quotes on the platform, brokers can offer clients a building and contents quote when it matters most, without leaving the system they already work in.
“It’s a faster, more seamless journey for brokers, a smoother experience for their clients, and also a new revenue opportunity. We will continue to work with brokers to determine where else we can add this type of integration and automation to CRM Brain.”
