Pepper Advantage has appointed OSB Group CEO Andy Golding as the company’s first group chairman.
Golding joined OSB Group in December 2011 and under his tenure the company has grown its deposits and loans, strengthened its capital and liquidity position and expanded its position in the UK market.
Golding was previously CEO of Saffron Building Society. He has also held senior positions at National Westminster Bank, John Charcol and Bradford & Bingley, and has also served on several charity and commercial boards in the past as a non-executive director.
Golding’s appointment as chairman of Pepper Advantage’s first group board follows the recent acquisition of the company by private investment company JC Flowers.
He joins the board of directors to help lead the company as it enters a period of strategic investment and growth under the leadership of JC Flower, with a focus on driving technological innovation in the credit management sector.
Golding’s appointment follows the recent addition of Antoinette Dunne and Mark Nieuwendijk to the group management.
Commenting on the announcement, Golding said: “I am pleased to be joining the Pepper Advantage board at such an important time in the company’s development.”
“I enjoy the opportunity to help leverage my industry knowledge and experience and look forward to working with the management team and board to continue to build on the strong foundations the company has established as it enters a new phase of growth and innovation.”
Fraser Gemmell, CEO of Pepper Advantage Group, added: “I look forward to working closely with Andy to strengthen Pepper Advantage’s position and lead the rollout of innovative technology solutions, including our proprietary credit management platform PRISM.”
“His extensive leadership experience will be invaluable as we transform our business and further expand our ability to provide customers and borrowers with the best possible service.”
